**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet patients warmly and professionally, both in person and over the phone.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, and explain financial obligations to patients.
- Collect and input accurate patient information and maintain confidentiality of all health records
- Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Answer patient inquiries regarding dental procedures, billing, and office policies.
- Coordinate treatment plans with the clinical team and assist patients in understanding recommended procedures.
- Handle billing, payment collection, and financial arrangements, including setting up payment plans.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment.
- Manage patient recalls and follow-up appointments to ensure continuity of care.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; diploma or degree or higher preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a dental or medical front office setting preferred.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Empathetic and patient-focused demeanor.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance plans a plus.
