Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Toronto, ON, for a Patient Care Coordinator. The Patient Care Coordinator will be responsible for appointment scheduling, managing patient communications via phone or in-person interactions, coordinating care plans, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Other day-to-day tasks include explaining treatment plans, maintaining patient records, and answering inquiries related to dental services and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Appointment Scheduling and efficient organization of patient appointments and calendars
  • Strong Phone Etiquette skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of patients
  • Experience in Care Coordination and ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Familiarity with Dental Terminology, particularly in dental care, to assist patients and healthcare staff accurately
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent Patient Care with a focus on compassion and professionalism
  • Strong administrative skills and knowledge of Dentrix
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Prior experience in a dental setting is an asset
  • Dental diploma or degree
