Kitchener, Canada Evolve Dance Centre Full time

**Job Title: Administrative Coordinator & Office Manager**
**Location**: Evolve Dance Centre - Kitchener, ON
**Position Type**: Part-Time (25-30 hours per week)
**Start Date**: As soon as possible

**About Evolve Dance Centre**:
Evolve Dance Centre is a well-established recreational and competitive dance studio serving families across the Kitchener-Waterloo region. We are known for our high standards, strong organization, and clear communication. Our environment is fast-paced, detail-driven, and people-focused — and we are intentional about building a team that can operate independently, professionally, and with care.

We are currently seeking a highly capable **Administrative Coordinator & Office Manager** to step into a key operational role within our studio.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys responsibility, systems, and clear expectations — and who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.

**Position Overview**:
This is not a casual front-desk position.

The Administrative Coordinator & Office Manager is a **core support role** responsible for daily studio operations, family communication, and administrative systems. You will be the primary point of contact for families and staff and must be confident handling sensitive information, decision-making, and competing priorities.

You will work closely with the Directors and play an important role in maintaining the professional standard Evolve is known for.

**Training & Transition Timeline**:

- **Training period**: Begins immediately through **June / early July**, with hands-on onboarding alongside the current administrator
- **Role transition**: Gradual takeover in **July/August**, during reduced summer hours
- **Full schedule**: Resumes in **September**, aligning with the studio’s regular operating hours

This phased transition is intentional and designed to set you up for long-term success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate student records, registrations, billing, and account notes
- Coordinate studio schedules and calendars
- Prepare and distribute clear, professional studio communications
- Support recital, competition, and special event logistics
- Monitor inventory and order office/studio supplies
- Maintain an organized, welcoming front-desk and studio environment
- Provide ongoing administrative support to Directors and teaching staff
- Supervise student helpers or volunteers during events when required

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Previous experience in an administrative, office manager, or customer service role (required)
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Flexible, reliable, and responsive to the evolving needs of a busy studio
- Comfortable in a kid
- and parent-focused environment
- Previous experience in a dance or studio setting is an asset, but not required

**Working Hours**:
20-30 hours per week. Some flexibility with scheduling, with a preference for coverage during studio operating hours (late afternoon/evening availability a plus). Additional hours during peak times (start of season, recital, competition weekends) may be required.

**Compensation**:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience. Opportunities for growth and seasonal bonuses may be available.

**Work Location & Requirements**
- In person at **Evolve Dance Centre, Kitchener, ON**:

- Must reliably commute or relocate prior to start date
- Secondary school diploma required

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
