Convergint is looking for a Collections Administrator to join our amazing culture in our Calgary location. The Collections Administrator will be making daily collection calls on all overdue accounts, communicating any issues with stakeholders, e.g. project managers, accounts receivable, and proposing actions to ensure prompt payment of invoices.

**What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”**
- Make daily calls to all overdue accounts, keep records and communicate issues to project managers, service operations manager, etc.
- Provide monthly reporting on accounts that are over 90 days.
- Develop contacts within the accounting and contract administration departments of all our customers to gain a better understanding of how our customers work and how we can provide the highest level of customer service. Manage a customer guide that all Convergint colleagues can access.
- Work closely with the Contracts Specialists to ensure timely escalation of accounts to legal process, eg lien, claims etc
- Work closely with the Contracts Specialist to ensure contract customer contract requirements are fulfilled including contract submissions, insurance certificates, bonding documentation or any other customer requirements.
- Handle all cheques received to the office.
- Lead for all strategic account invoice processing
- Lead for processing all credit card payments.
- Lead monthly aged report meetings with all locations ensuring attendance by general managers and/or operations managers.
- Prepare and send customer surveys on a monthly basis.
- Back-up accounts receivable for invoicing and month end reports during times of sickness, vacation and high volume.
- Attend project review meetings quarterly.
- Write monthly AR newsletter.
- Work on special projects as assigned and required.
- Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint is the customer’s first choice for service.

**What You’ll Need**
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills and ability to deal with a wide cross section of people both internal and external to the business.
- Strong Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills.
- Excellent customer service/care skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and results focused.
- Strong team orientation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and direction in a dynamic work environment.
- Strong organizational/time management skills.

**Requirements**:

- College Diploma or 3 years relevant work experience.
- Minimum of one year of previous collections experience
- Minimum of one year of previous accounts receivable experience.
