**Job Summary**
Reporting to the Executive Director, **the Community & Program Outreach Coordinator** is a team player who demonstrates a passion for connecting and networking in the community. Must have outstanding customer service skills and effective communication skills to speak in front of large and small groups, both in-person and virtually. The position requires the ability to work independently with drive, enthusiasm, creativity, and flexibility.
Primary duties include youth & volunteer recruitment, increasing awareness for the ITW, developing new ways to market employment opportunities for the youth we serve, and presenting opportunities in a persuasive and engaging way.

In addition, the role will oversee evening program delivery in consultation with the Program Delivery Coordinator, the role will also supervise evening peer staff.
**Qualifications**
**Education and Experience**
- A diploma or bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred, with an emphasis in communication, business, or marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, sales, community organizing, or grassroots campaign experience preferred.
- Natural ability to connect with people and inspire them to act
**Availability**
- Typically, the **Community & Program Outreach Coordinator** role will operate on a Monday through Friday salaried role, however some evening and weekend hours may be required, as per the needs of the organization.
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Cumberland County.

- Experienced public speaking skills, with the ability to connect people to our mission. Must be charismatic, persuasive, professional, engaging, and dynamic with the ability to share the powerful message on how ITW will have sustaining effect on the lives of a youth in our communities.
- Excellent customer service skills and approachable demeanor.
- Demonstrated success in sales, working with volunteers or engagement with proven ability to meet quantitative goals.
- Ability to create and facilitate formal and informal presentations to various sized groups and diverse audiences in-person or virtually.
- Highly motivated, confident, organized, detail-oriented, and driven to meet goals.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with proven ability to work with diverse populations.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, promoting cross-functional communication and problem solving.
- Offer elevated level of proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable learning new systems and programs. Experience with Salesforce and Canva preferred.
**Responsibilities**
**Program Delivery - 40%**
- Create and implement strategies that include new and existing partnerships with collegiate, corporate, and community organizations to meet monthly and annual engagement and recruitment metrics.
- Deliver inspiring presentations by incorporating real-life match stories, positive youth outcomes, and calls to action, effectively customizing presentations to align with target audience(s).
- Conduct and facilitate the intake process and hand it off to the Program Delivery Coordinator, while ensuring excellence in standard selections and operating procedures.
**Outreach - 40%**
- Represent ITW at community outreach events in targeted areas to build awareness of the agency, mission, and recruitment needs.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director, engage with business partners to create opportunities for our youth.
- Distribute marketing materials to strategic locations and partnerships.
- Create a system to efficiently organize strategy and follow up on leads, partnerships, and opportunities.
- Utilize community websites to post volunteer opportunities.
- Must maintain a professional image and adjust to align with multiple target audiences.
**Communication and Collaboration - 20%**
- Maintain ongoing communication with program staff.
**And other Duties as assigned by the Executive Director.**
