- As CMMS Implementation Support Intern, you will assist in deploying, configuring, and validating a new CMMS system across multiple facilities. This involves data gathering, site coordination, training support, and documentation. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Property Technology, you will gain hands-on experience in project management, facility operations, and enterprise software implementation.
**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:
Site and Data Preparation:
- Assist in collecting and organizing asset data from existing CMMS or manual records.
- Coordinate with facility managers to validate asset inventories, maintenance schedules, and spare parts lists.
- Ensure site data is formatted correctly for migration.
Software Implementation Support:
- Help configure the CMMS for each facility, ensuring asset hierarchies, workflows, and permissions align with site needs.
- Participate in testing phases to identify and document software issues.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from staff.
Training and Documentation:
- Assist as needed creating CMMS user guides and standard operating procedures for facility staff.
- Support on-site and remote training sessions by preparing materials and answering user questions.
Project Coordination:
- Schedule meetings with stakeholders across different provinces.
- Track project milestones, site readiness, and user onboarding progress.
- Maintain project documentation, including risk logs, issue trackers, and deployment checklists.
Post-Implementation Support:
- Monitor initial use of the new CMMS and assist staff in resolving minor issues.
- Document post-implementation feedback for further system refinement.
- Assist in the transition from old CMMS systems.
**WHAT YOU BRING**:
- Understanding and interest in the commercial real estate industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Data entry, analysis, and organization skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to collaborate across different teams and regions.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of software configuration or willingness to learn.
- Willingness to travel.
**OUR APPLICATION PROCESS**:
Our Summer Internships/Co-Ops are four-month, paid, in-person opportunities commencing on May 5, 2025, and concluding on August 22, 2025. Interns must be available on a full-time basis for the entire duration of the program.
