**About the job** **AZ Driver with Fast Card** Hercules Forwarding ULC is looking to hire a full-time Cross Border Truck driver for our Canada/USA routes based out of Toronto, Ontario Hercules is an award-winning, asset-based motor carrier and customs brokerage, specializing in US-to-Canada and intra US shipments. We operate over 1000 pieces of equipment through more than 30 terminals and our innovative "no breakbulk" structure reduces transit time and the opportunity for damage and misrouting. Utilizing the latest green fleet technology advancements available to truck carriers, we are a responsible partner with both the Canada Border Services Agency and US Customs and Border Protection. **Responsibilities**: - Pick up in Toronto, cross border and deliver to switch point. - Work safely and maintain compliance with policies and procedures. - Conduct routine inspection of truck and trailer. - Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety **Requirements**: - Valid AZ driver’s license with clean commercial driver’s abstract - Valid Fast Card - Minimum 12 months experience of cross border required (winter driving an asset) - Criminal background check will be required once selected - Legally authorized to work in Canada. - Oral, written and comprehension skills in English. - Comply with hours of service regulations and weights in accordance with DOT. - Random drug and alcohol testing at random. - No past positive records with DOT. - Current driver abstract (within 30 days) - Current CVOR abstract (within 30 days) - Optimistic individual with positive attitude and a good natured team player. - Must be available for weekend runs and flexible to work in the city on occasions. **What we offer**: - Competitive Salary - Benefits after probation - Driver Bonus according to safety standards and performance - Supportive Dispatch and Customer Service Team Pay: From $275.00 per day **Benefits**: - Dental care - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 8 hour shift Application question(s): - Do you have valid FAST Card? **Experience**: - cross-border: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - AZ driver’s license with clean commercial driver’s abstract (required) Work Location: On the road
