BMD Transportation is hiring AZ drivers with flatbed/stepdeck experience to deliver building materials and rental equipment to construction sites in Ontario and Quebec (NO BORDER CROSSING) mostly along the 400 series highways. Steady 50hr+ weeks. We do not pay driver corporations, this is a payroll position only.

Position Requirements:

- Valid A/Z license with a minimum 2 years verifiable tractor & flatbed/stepdeck driving experience
- Clean abstract/CVOR
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to accommodate different start times (plan on 5am/6am start times)
- Ability to sleep in truck overnight (1 to 2 nights/week)
- Ability to work 50+ hours/week

**Responsibilities**:

- operate a automatic transmission highway tractor with a 53' flatbed/step deck trailer adhering to all road safety requirements
- Perform daily inspections of trucks & trailers before, during, and after trips, including gauges, lighting and electrical systems, and visual checks of potential water, oil, fuel and air leaks
- Complete all applicable paperwork
- Maintain up-to-date Driver Log (all trucks are e-log equipped)
- Responsible for communicating with Dispatch
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers and co-workers in a professional manner
- Be able to perform physical work (lifting in excess of 50lbs)
- Observe and comply with rules and regulations of the Ministry of Transportation and the Highway Traffic Act
- Secure and unsecure loads using straps and chains & binders

**Salary**: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
