Phlebotomist/patient Care Coordinator

Fast paced, multidisciplinary clinic is looking to hire a part time Patient Care Coordinator/Phlebotomist. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday between 9AM - 5PM. Job responsibilities are listed below.

Job responsibilities:
I. Clinical and Research Support
- a. Oversee and maintain the laboratory equipment and operations
- b. Train and supervise personnel utilizing the laboratory and its equipment
- c. Ensure adherence to standards of cleanliness and sanitation for laboratory workspace
- d. Ensure clinic equipment calibrations are up-to
- date and coordinate with the Director regarding inspections, audits, and reports
- e. Coordinate inventory control with Clinical Services Core - purchasing and stocking of medical and laboratory supplies
- f. Ensure that individuals handling hazardous or regulated materials are well-trained in proper safety procedures (including protective-equipment use and waste disposal) and have completed required environmental health and safety training in accordance with company and sponsoring agency policies and procedures
- g. Collect and process diagnostic specimens as per sponsor provided guidelines
- h. Safely and effectively administer study medications as per sponsor provided guidelines and as directed by the delegated Research Coordinator
- i. Accurately document the administration of study medication in source documents as per sponsor provided guidelines
