Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to help with our research. The ideal candidate will have experience in both hospital and laboratory settings, demonstrating a strong ability to provide excellent patient care while performing phlebotomy procedures. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely blood collection, supporting both patient well-being and the smooth execution of our clinical studies.

Duties

  • Perform blood collection in accordance with established protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and infection control standards.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and information regarding the blood draw process. .

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and patient care practices.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology related to blood collection and laboratory procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
  • CMLA certification is mandatory

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week

Work Location: In person
