In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely blood collection, supporting both patient well-being and the smooth execution of our clinical studies.
Duties
- Perform blood collection in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and infection control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing reassurance and information regarding the blood draw process. .
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospital or laboratory setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and patient care practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to blood collection and laboratory procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- CMLA certification is mandatory
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 2 per week
Work Location: In person
