**SUMMARY**

The Pipefitter is involved in connecting and rigging pipe. This work exist outdoors and may be physically demanding. Majority of work is between 20” to 30” pipe sizes

Looking for Apprentices and Journeyman.

**Location**: Fabrication Shop 17ST

**Shift**:

- Day Shift: 6am-4:30 pm Mon - Thurs_

**Rate**: $32.81 - 53.17 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training)

**JOB DUTIES**
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Fit pipe using shop control drawings(acorn)
- Tack weld fitting components
- Prepping/grinding factory bevelled pipe ends.
- Utilize elbow jigs, external clamps whenever possible
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned such as operating skid steer

**QUALIFICATIONS**- Must be an Alberta registered apprentice or ticketed journeyman (or hold an apprenticeship or journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
- CSTS-09 and/or CSO
- Tacking & Fabrication Shop experience is considered an asset
- Shop Hydro Experience is considered an asset
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and climb in/under units in the field
- Organized and self-motivated
