Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Journeyperson and Apprentice Pipefitters for our Fabrication Shop/Yard in Nisku, AB.
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 44 hours per week
Journeyman Rate: $26.14 - $43.56
**Job Description**:
Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment.
- Operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company procedures and guidelines
- Read and interpret technical drawings and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson or Apprentice in the trade of Pipefitter/Steamfitter.
- Those with previous experience working in a shop setting working with structural steel will be given preference.
- CSTS ticket
- WHMIS ticket
