Cloud 9 AV is looking for a seasoned content creator within our marketing team, who will work with the VP, Sales & Marketing to attract new clients, designers, builders, new employees and partners through digital.
The role is client centric and includes travelling to job sites and engaging with our teams and clients to tell the story of why Cloud 9 AV delivers the best solutions in our industry.
You have extensive knowledge of social media, print media and the ability to effectively drive new sales and deliver results.
**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Developing marketing programs.
- Working along side the field teams to capture the action using video, photography and the written word to highlight the work we do.
- Leverage the suppliers and partners we work with to create multimedia campaigns. These partners include amazing companies such as Sonos, Samsung, Sony, Contro4, Savant, Lutron and many others.
- Submissions for design awards in the industry.
- Collaborate with others in the industry through CEDIA.
- Running events with partners on evenings and potential weekends
- Booking internal/external meetings
- Simultaneous management of multiple projects
- Anticipate and resolve problem situations
- Conduct rigorous follow-up to stay on the critical path, ensuring communication of project status to all key stakeholders on a regular established basis
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plan, status reports, internal meeting notes, change requests and resource requests
- Organizing and setting clear expectations in regard to tasks and deliverables
- Providing clear and accurate communication, materials and documentation to team
- Gathering and organizing all client-related assets
- Maintaining continuity, learning and quality assurance across projects
- Perform project post-mortem
- Recommend process improvements and continuously looking to improve quality
- Remain accountable for all aspects of project management tasks and understand client-agency process
**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:
- **MUST have experience working in a marketing role**
- 2+ years of experience working at a consultancy, branding, digital or creative agency in an integrated project role
- Proven hands on experience creating content with solid understanding of the digital media techniques and methods.
- Must have a successful track record of campaign work, and a strong understanding of Digital, Social, Content
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, management and organizational skills
- Motivated by a fast moving, collaborative work environment
- Superior time management skills to ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Ability to actively listen, ensure understanding, adaptability
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills.
- This role does require travel, weekend work and/or off-standard hours of program execution when necessary
- Demonstrated experience in experiential and other mediums such as broadcast a huge plus
- Dynamic individual who has energy and enthusiasm and has an ongoing commitment to achieving high quality results.
