The Human Resources Department is seeking a passionate Human Resources Advisor specializing in talent acquisition and workplace attendance management.

As an HR expert, you will play a key role in managing the complete recruitment cycle, helping to build a dynamic and competent team that supports the ambitions of our Town. You will also be responsible for managing employee absence files while leveraging your generalist skills to assist managers and employees with various HR projects.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Talent Acquisition**:

- Coordinate recruitment processes to attract competent staff that meet managers’ expectations while ensuring alignment with the organization’s image.
- Develop and promote the employer brand to enhance talent attraction and retention.
- Advise managers on best practices in recruitment, including workforce planning, hiring, selection tests, interviews, onboarding, and integration.
- Manage and coordinate the onboarding and integration of new employees in collaboration with managers and administrative resources, while monitoring probation periods.
- Create and update recruitment tools, such as interview templates and selection tests.
- Ensure recruitment processes comply with collective agreements and applicable policies.
- Stay informed about best practices in talent acquisition to optimize processes and propose tailored solutions.

**Generalist Responsibilities**:

- Manage CNESST cases, salary insurance, and other compensation systems on administrative, medical, and legal levels.
- Provide HR advisory services to managers in various departments.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop and implement projects that promote employee well-being and organizational efficiency.
- Respond to employee questions and requests regarding HR programs, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, codes, standards, contracts, regulations, and directives for assigned tasks.
- Develop and analyze HR performance indicators to improve processes and optimize HR strategies.

Proactively monitor best practices and HR trends to anticipate needs and innovate in HR approaches.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Business Administration (HR focus), or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience (experience in a unionized environment is an asset).
- Excellent knowledge of labor laws.
- CRHA or CRIA designation is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in both French and English* (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in computer tools: Office Suite (intermediate level).
