- Be the community management expert - engage with key decision makers within client teams to help advance their long-term competitive position through social media
- Develop social media strategies that support the broader business and marketing goals of the client
- Embrace the opportunity to dig into insights and conversations that help fuel the larger social media story
- Monitor company’s social media accounts daily and proactively seek engagement opportunities to identify brand supporters and advocates via native tactics and social listening platforms
- Provide thought leadership as well as engagement opportunities and strategic recommendations to advance client’s social presence
- Conduct and present social media reports and sentiment analysis
- Support the crafting of creative and/or media briefs and inspiration stimuli to prompt new ideas and thinking
- Work with cross-functional partners, including agency colleagues as well as client’s department teams (Marketing, Communications, Business Development etc.) on response approvals and playbook updates
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
- 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, social media, external communications or related field.
- Strong understanding of social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube etc.) and/or social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Social Studio, etc.
- You are a great communicator, writer, and project manager who understands how to communicate technical concepts and their impact to stakeholders at all levels.
- Skilled at creating social content on your phone (Instagram Stories, Photoshop)
- Good business acumen and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, including experience in translating business objectives into social media strategies
- Ability to think fast, work proactively, and remain diligent in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly identify, define and articulate problems and develop creative solutions to address client requirements.
- Energy industry experience is considered a strong asset
