Starting wage: $15.50/hr

Position Overview

We are currently looking for someone to join our Deer Creek team as a Food and Beverage Server who holds themselves to superior standards regarding customer service, guest experience and providing exceptional quality of service.

In this position you will be required to work a variety of positions throughout our Food and Beverage team, up to and including restaurant server, on course stations and beverage cart (depending on experience).

Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Superior customer service skills
- Strong communication skills
- Works well in a team environment
- Schedule:
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts (early morning, afternoon, and evenings).
- Must be able to work on holidays
- Must be available to work April - November 1st (few summer positions available)

**Responsibilities**:

- Offers exceptional service to all guests and has outgoing, positive attitude. Assisting our guests in receiving all food and beverage requirements they have ordered through our beverage cart, restaurant, and/or event facilities
- Prepare beverages in accordance with provincial liquor laws and Deer Creek standards
- Be knowledgeable of all beverage items to make recommendations
- Helps to service/maintain of all aspects of food and beverage operations in accordance with our standards, procedures and guidelines.
- Promotes teamwork by assisting fellow workers
- Always provide exceptional guest experience to all external and internal clients
- Adhere to all employment policies and procedures as laid out in the golf course employment handbook
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to bend, climb stairs and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs in a fast-paced environment while always remaining calm and courteous.
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Must be a team orientated individual with good interactive skill, dependable, honest, and reliable.
- 1-year previous serving experience
- Smart Service Certified

**Job Type**: Part time seasonal contract - up to 40hrs depending on volume of business
