**About the role**
By leveraging strategic portfolio management, the Manager, Portfolio Management is responsible for leading the company's analytics and investment teams. As a key leader on this team, you will play a role in developing and mentoring the investment team. You will guide the analytics team in its mandate to benchmark trading and perform execution research to guide investment decisions and inform trading decisions. You will provide portfolio insights to enable decision-making and drive a culture of agility through prioritization, including leveraging OKRs, benefits, and resource capacity information.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead investment team to manage investment portfolios, including funding & governance, providing insights to enable decision making
- Accountable for investment decisions based on disciplined research and risk aware portfolio construction to deliver the desired investment outcomes
- Plan and execute market making strategies for proprietary trading, commodities trading, ETFs, and cryptos
- Construct models using predictive analytics to generate arbitrage strategies in North American and Asian markets
- Manage IT projects to implement trading or listing strategies, e.g., placing orders into exchange API matching engines directly on listed futures and ETFs
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, finance, technology partners, and external advisors
- Help develop and mentor junior team members through meeting contributions and one-on-one interactions
- Contribute to the marketing and servicing effort pertaining to both the institutional and retail client base
**Requirements**:
- Post-graduate degrees in business, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics with strong academic credentials
- Five or more years of equity research and portfolio management experience
- Two or more years of relevant buy side, investment banking sell side equity/derivatives/crypto trading experience
- CFA designation is required. CPA, FRM, and CAIA are assets to have
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including financial and accounting skills
- Intimate knowledge of stock and futures/derivatives markets in North America and Asia from an investment perspective
- Proficient in computer modeling, spreadsheet analysis, and IT management of automated trading systems. Computer programing is a benefit
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal which must be effective at influencing colleagues
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to perform under pressure on a trading desk, and ability to prioritize and multi-task responsibilities
- Able to invest using a thoughtful and repeatable process to exploit arbitrage opportunities
- Thorough and detail-oriented
- Demonstrated passion for investing
- Multi-lingual is an asset (French, Spanish, Cantonese, or Mandarin)
**Salary**: $110,240.00 per year
