Warranty and Document Coordinator

Coordinates service activities through planning, managing and executing each order to ensure customer receipt of their delivery on or before scheduled due date.

**Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)**:

- Use project management skills to define scope for each Warranty order, stock and procured materials for each job and ensure the shop schedule aligns with shipment information.
- Monitor and track progress for all Warranties from receipt of Purchase Order through Shipping.
- Develop a project plan for each project using milestones and internal toll gates
- Issue and track Warranty Return authorizations.
- Communicate between locations and external resources (Sumitomo Field Sales, Distribution, OEM channels) to keep projects moving forward.
- Assist Aftermarket in coordinating and scheduling field service projects including travel arrangements and customer contacts for on-site Warranty repairs.
- Generate monthly reports based on performance metrics.
- Control documentation to ensure a timely methodical review, and adherence to Sumitomo Standard Practices and SOPs for Canadian operations is done to achieve and maintain Document and ISO compliance.
- Maintaining and filing documents within Sumitomo database.
- Expediting the review of internal documentation with all departments.
- Assist Sumitomo departments in Root Cause investigations and corrective action implementation.

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering (Mechanical Engineering is preferred).
- Three (3) years of experience in a service-oriented job or industry.
- Proven track record of customer service, organization skills and interpersonal skills.
