**What You’ll Do**:

- Enter pickup and delivery information accurately into the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Contact customers to confirm delivery arrangements and provide updates as required.
- Make outbound calls to consignees and other stakeholders on behalf of Dispatchers.
- Schedule and book delivery appointments, ensuring all details are recorded in the TMS.
- Greet and assist drivers and customers at the dispatch window in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain and update Bill of Lading (BOL) notes with relevant shipment information.
- Support Dispatchers with administrative tasks and coordination of duties as needed.
- Proactively address and help resolve logístical issues or scheduling conflicts.
- Perform other related duties and administrative support tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Successful completion of Grade 12, with a minimum of one (1) year transportation industry experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Knowledge of LTL freight-handling requirements.
- Solid knowledge of the geography of British Columbia.
- Experience with a Transportation Management System (TMS) preferred.
- Dispatch and customer service experience preferred.

**Who You Are**:

- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Ability to effectively plan and organize self, prioritize tasks, and allocate time and resources accordingly to ensure completion within set timelines.
- Customer focused and responds to inquiries in a timely manner; takes responsibility for meeting internal and external customer requirements and solving problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in order to be effective in requesting and delivering information.
- Self-starter who has the ability to exercise considerable independence, judgement, confidence in decision-making and requires mínimal supervision; takes initiatives to make things happen without being asked and anticipates tasks that need to be done.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
