**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lives Forbes Bro. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our everyday
- Work closely with Jr. Estimator and Operations Supervisors on intaking new work orders for assignment
- Perform quantity and unit take offs from incoming designs and drawings
- Prepare and interpret production reports, as-built and design drawings
- Communicate with General Foreman regarding site visit/scope confirmation
- Submit PRE & POST construction change orders for client review, negotiate and adjust rejections as required with utmost professionalism
- Track and file important written and verbal details/communications to support change order justification
- Work with Operations Administration to ensure permitting and other requirements are in place ahead of construction
- Attend meetings with the goal to continually review and improve internal processes
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Subcontractors
- Assist in overall construction coordination, planning and identifying potential risks, and resolving field technical issues
- Review work order financial performance with Operations Supervisor/Regional Manager as required
- Complete other tasks and duties as assigned

**What We Are Looking For**:

- Minimum one (1) year experience in the construction industry, experience in civil construction industry an asset
- Relevant knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences and installation specifications
- Demonstrated ability in cost summarization and quantity take-off
- Strong computer skills and experience having worked with multiple platforms and operating systems including MS Office, Excel, MS Project
- Ability to work in field/site with travel and work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote/site work schedules
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable drivers abstract
