The Opportunity

The Client Solutions team is responsible for the creation of insights to empower decision makers at all levels (including branch, region, and executive) by building & supporting analytics and operating mechanisms to deliver on key strategic objectives. The Data Analytics team at CWB is seeking an Analyst with a passion for data analytics; someone who enjoys exploring the relationships between data elements and appreciates how data is used to drive business decisions.

The core responsibilities of the job will include:
- Contribute to end-to-end data analytics initiatives of the group including data extraction, analysis, visualization, machine learning, and the creation of insightful presentations, ready for executive consumption.- Creating and delivering ad-hoc and regular reports, designed to help drive positive business growth. This includes identifying patterns, gaps, and exceptions.- It will also include a broader mandate of partnering with our technology partners to realize best governance practices around our data consumption and reporting delivery.- As the team evolves on our analytics journey, the incumbent will need to work with the business to identify opportunities to use predictive analytics in strategies, align on analytic plans and deliver on the technical workload.- This role requires the incumbent to have high a degree of attention to detail and have a high degree of comfort in interacting with stakeholders, at all levels, in a professional manner.

Specific Accountabilities

FINANCIAL PILLAR- Support and validate the data analysis and reporting on different front-line programs.- Identify and build analytics solutions to assist with banking centre strategies- Support new analysis and reporting as required to support retention, growth and attraction strategies and tactics.

CLIENT PILLAR- Responsible for acting as the initial point of contact on matters related to all projects assigned, including analytics to support operational optimization.- Maintain a high level of communication with all team members.- Effectively communicate with operational resources and internal stakeholders to collect and interpret data from multiple sources.- Build client segmentations and predictive analytics to help optimize decision making at CWB.

SUPPORT PILLAR- Ability to oversee the data and information collection from disparate sources, link and analyze this information, perform data integrity checks.- Collaborate with IT partners and other Data Analytics teams within CWB to build out the data environment and analytics work platforms.
