This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The **Help Desk Coordinator **at YMCA of Northern Alberta provides support to the Help Desk in all aspects, including working on special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Provide internal help desk support for LAN /WAN and for 500 plus users both remotely and in person
- Installation and maintenance of hardware and software, including configuration and testing
- Act as support and assist with various tasks as needed, including but not limited to inventory maintenance, ID creation, documentation and project planning.
- Provide back up support to Manager, Information Services and System/Network Administrator
- Provide input into long term strategy planning for IT support service and related policies and practices for the Edmonton YMCA
- Knows and reviews all emergency procedures, follows all guidelines from Risk Management and Health & Safety including but not limited to; Work Alone Policy and Procedures and the Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults Protection Policies and Procedures.
- Consistently represent YMCA’s values and mission, comply with YMCA Policies, Standards, SAM Standards and funder mandates. Continuously act towards achieving both personal and YMCA goals.
**What You'll Need**
- 2 years' experience in IT Support
- Excellent oral and written presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, O365 and remote support
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and where Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check
- Access to a reliable vehicle in order to access 50+ sites in the Edmonton region (mileage coverage from first office location)
