AWC is a distributor, integrator, and OEM of various types of equipment, including valves, pumps, and MCCs & VFDs, water/wastewater treatment plants for municipal and industrial industries. The position is that of a Technical Sales Representative (TSR) in our distribution group. Products include a variety of pumping equipment manufacturers of various technologies, liquid ring vacuum pumps and compressors and valves including a full service and repair facility, calling on industrial and municipal markets.
- Soliciting potential customers for opportunities to provide services and products offered by AWC;
- Providing technical advice to customers and offer services and products to meet their requirements;
- Following up on outstanding leads, quotations, and opportunities;
- Utilizing various software programs used by the company to manage the business, including CRM;
- Travelling throughout Western Canada;
- Make sales calls and presentations to various parties including end users, engineering consultants, contractors, or other types stakeholders;
- Provide all necessary training and support to clients or potential clients to ensure maximum effectiveness when pursuing opportunities;
- Collaborate with AWC management and vendors to help establish and execute a sales goal for the territory;
- Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities;
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a TSR or similar senior role;
- A deep level of understanding of various industrial processes;
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
- Proficiency in MS office suite and experience with CRM software;
- Results-focused, customer-centric, and self-motivated;
- Proven ability to communicate with other colleagues;
- Adhere to AWC's safety policies and procedures;
- A love for life long continuous learning and development.
