At Reach Out Niagara FSS, we provide counselling and other mental health services to the Niagara Community.

Summary:
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE **WHO CAN WORK WEEKENDS** with children, youth, and families in the region

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide counselling to a diverse set of clients dealing with various personal issues.
- Evaluate client needs and work with them to meet their goals
- Provide excellent clinical/ethical services

Requirement
- Master’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, or Social Work;
Professional College membership
- Minimum two (2) years post-graduate counselling experience with multiple populations;
- Experience with trauma, play therapy and/or dyadic developmental psychotherapy or Willingness to learn play therapy and family therapy models (eg DDP).

- Ability to clinically manage/assess high-risk cases, including clients who are a threat to self or others;
- Able to work with individuals, couples and families and good knowledge of community resources;
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle a large volume of clients;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Must be flexible to work days and evening shifts;
- Exceptional customer service focus, high professionalism and adherence to ethical principles of conduct
- Basic knowledge of computer systems is an asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$39.00 per hour
