**Human Resource Manager**

Hanover School Division is looking for a Human Resource (HR) Manager to grow their team. The Division office is located in Steinbach, MB, an easy commute from any of the surrounding communities, Blumenort, Bothwell,
Crystal Springs, Grunthal, Kleefeld, Landmark, Mitchell, Niverville, or from Winnipeg.

**Start date**: As soon as possible
- Supports Senior Administration with the development of HR strategies and procedures that support long
- term strategic goals.
- Leads and collaborates with human resource team members in process improvement and support management.
- Manages full-cycle recruitment and selection function, including coordination of staff orientation program.
- Maintains and supports positive employee and labour relations by addressing grievances or other concerns.
- Oversees the administration of the annual performance review process and serves as a resource to managers and supervisors in the delivery of performance appraisals and the promotion of career opportunities.
- Assesses training needs and coordinates support staff professional development.
- Performs general human resource administration functions as they relate to personnel file maintenance, correspondence, and on-going policy administration.
- Analyzes and reports to Senior Administration on key human resource metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal employment legislation and regulations.
- Administers employment policy and collective agreements.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline or a suitable combination of experience and training. CPHR or RPR is preferred.
- Previous experience in developing, maintaining, and evaluating human resource management programs is essential.
- HR experience in unionized environments is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven track record of effectively communicating to large staff groups and effectively managing difficult conversations.
- Experience with process improvement and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks at the same time.
- In addition to the above, this position requires the following:_
- Valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle during working hours.
- An up-to-date Criminal Record Check from Winnipeg Police Service and Adult Abuse Registry clearance.

Salary Range $88,621 to $100,103

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $88,621.00-$100,103.00 per year
