Channel Control Merchants (CCM) is a diversified secondary market products company that has been in business for over 25 years in the US, and 10 years in Canada. The Canadian division is a new and rapidly expanding company with lots of growth and opportunity. With currently 3 distribution centres in Ontario, and one distribution centre in Alberta, 12 Retail Stores (Channel Control Merchants and Treasure Hunt) in Ontario, and 1 Retail Store in Calgary. The main responsibilities of an "Administrative Assistant" entail: - answering and conducting phone calls - taking messages, and ensuring they get delivered to the correct person - handling paperwork and issues in a confidential manner - processing WSIB Claims - photocopying, creating signage, sending out mail via UPS, etc. - conducting interviews, completing the hiring process, first day orientations, etc. - assisting the Human Resource Manager as needed This position is permanent, full-time - fixed term contract for roughly 18 months Health benefits available after full-time employment for 3-months RRSP Program available for full & part time employees Store Discount **Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract Contract length: 18 months **Benefits**: - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - RRSP match - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: - Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Secondary School (preferred) **Experience**: - Front desk: 1 year (preferred) - Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
