The RM of Buckland No. 491 is seeking a skilled and experienced Seasonal Equipment Operator with a valid Class 1A license to join our Public Works team. This role is crucial for maintaining and improving the RM's infrastructure, requiring expertise in operating heavy equipment and transporting materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment, including but not limited to: Belly dump trucks, graders, backhoe, dozer, mower tractor, loaders, other related heavy equipment.
- Transport materials (gravel, sand, etc.) to and from work sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and RM safety policies.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Assist with road maintenance and construction projects.
- Communicate effectively with the Public Works Foreman and other team members.

Qualifications:

- Valid Saskatchewan Class 1A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving abstract.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in road construction or municipal settings.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on diverse terrain.
- Excellent driving record and a strong commitment to safety.
- Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Local Applicants are preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $29.43-$33.12 per hour
