Equipment Operator

Overview
We are seeking 2 skilled Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter harvest season. We are looking for an experienced buncher operator and a loader operator to deck for a skidding crew. Both of these positions are based out of Prince George, and are not camp based.
Responsibilities
- Operate a 2023 Tigercat 830 Buncher, falling for a skidders East of Prince George
- Operate a 2022 Tigercat 880 Loader, decking for 2 skidders East of Prince George
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met
- Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any issues promptly
Requirements
- Loader operator must be experienced and able to direct skid crew to ensure productive operations and maximize productive machine time
- Buncher operator must be able to work in a variety of terrain types and fall for a variety of harvest systems.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $37.50-$41.00 per hour
Expected hours: 60 per week
