Job Description: 

Framerz Inc. is hiring dependable Afternoon Shift Workers to fabricate wood walls in our prefab shop located in Crossfield AB. We’re looking for people that are proactive, organized, and able to handle materials, equipment, and tasks independently. Each new employee will be trained by one of our long-term employees to be sure that you understand our processes and our quality expectations. We also want to be sure that you get the training required to enable you to work safely and efficiently in our shop environment.

 

Key Responsibilities: 
- Fabricate components and build walls. Both require a high level of quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Packaging of walls for shipment. Ensuring that each wall pack are stable and free of any loose material so that they are safe to transport down the road.
- Keep the shop floor organized, functional, and safe, including basic equipment maintenance and storage management. 
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and your team. 
- Support team members with clear communication, helping set a standard of productivity and reliability. 

 Qualifications: 
- Experience in wood framing.
- Experience with the use of tools such as a circular saw, router, and pneumatic tools.
- Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment is a plus. 
-  Strong organizational skills and able to work independently and with a team.
