If you're a dedicated leader with a strong commitment to agriculture, collaboration, and operational success, our Crossfield Agro Centre offers the perfect opportunity for you. We're looking for a full-time Assistant Agro Manager to join our dynamic team.

Position: Assistant Agro Manager

Full-time : 40 hours per week. Benefit eligible after 3 months. If you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB Health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

  • Support sales, margin, expense control, and inventory management while ensuring a professional, customer-focused environment.
  • Supervise and develop team members, organize daily operations, and lead the hiring process, training, and scheduling.
  • Oversee custom applications, deliveries, and marketing initiatives to support the sales team.
  • Manage financial responsibilities, including budgeting, reviewing invoices, and ensuring compliance with Central Alberta Co-op policies.
  • Oversee facility maintenance, fleet operations, and enforce safety and loss prevention standards.
  • Assume responsibility for location operations and administration in the manager's absence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 education required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
  • Class 3 Driver's Licence is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
