- **What you’ll do**:
- **The Brass Tacks**
- Onboarding of new employees, liaising with ownership on uniforms, issuing uniforms, set up and staff administration of payroll system. Onboarding and orientation of any new starters to staff housing and issuing and monitoring room keys.
- Implement and administer any new or revised employee policies, review of existing policies and promote positive employee relations.
- Staff Engagement - Organize and promote team building activities for staff from various departments and communicate any special events to the teams. Initiate employee engagement and recognition programs for high performing team members.
- Conflict Resolution - Implement and execute new procedures to manage employee issues and other disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations.
- Manage and monitor performance-related issues and implement changes that could increase productivity in liaison with the department head.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Handle termination-related matters and prepare termination and severance letters.
- Be well-versed in local, regional, provincial and federal laws and regulations regarding hiring and firing.
- Implementing and documenting any new and existing processes relating to medical, fire safety, occupational health or any other matters
- Operate as an active member of the Naramata Inn leadership team. Getting involved in various aspects of the operation when and where necessary to support the goal of exceeding guest and team member expectations.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
