Since 2020, April Fresh Cleaning Services has set the gold standard for residential and vacation-rental cleaning across the South Okanagan. We're expanding and looking for motivated cleaners who want flexible daytime hours, reliable year-round work, and a supportive, growth-minded workplace.

Flexible daytime hours; regular schedule preferred

Compensation

$22 - $25 per hour to start | Bonus system, tips, paid travel time & km reimbursement

Vehicle

Personal vehicle required with mileage reimbursed (April Fresh maintains some company vehicles for use by the Cleaners, though availability is limited).

3. What You'll Do

• Clean homes to April Fresh's exacting standards
• Dust, wipe, scrub, vacuum, mop, sanitize, and tidy spaces
• Work independently or as part of a small team, depending on the job
• Communicate courteously with clients and teammates
• Manage equipment and supplies and report any maintenance or safety issues

4. What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and motivation - you enjoy making spaces shine
• Reliability & self-direction - able to manage your time on-site
• RCMP criminal record check (required)
• Valid BC Class 5 licence + clean driving record
• Legally eligible to work in Canada & based in the South Okanagan
• Previous cleaning experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person

5. How Training Works

The length of time for the training depends on the individual involved, though average training times look as follows:

• Week 1–2: Paid, hands-on training with a senior cleaner
• Week 3–4: Gradual route independence, quality checks & feedback
• Post-Training: Eligible for raises, our bonus system, a full-time schedule (an average of 35 to 40 hours per week depending on your availability) and advancement track
