Your ability to be a self-starter, a proactive approach and commitment to excellence will be key to your success. The MSR plays a critical role in achieving the goal of the organization by building strong and long-lasting member relations through providing members with exceptional services. **Skill Requirements** **Required Experience**: - 1 year of cash-handling experience in a retail environment; - 1 year of work experience in a financial services sales’ environment preferred; - Prior banking/credit union experience preferred; - Must be bondable. **What you’d be doing**: - Responsible for opening and closing accounts, processing member’s bill payments, and setting up online banking services; - Responsible for developing a working knowledge of products and services and making appropriate referrals to our Financial Service Representatives or Wealth team; - Complete “Know Your Member” updates and validate information in our banking system; - Build member relationships to better understand their needs while offering products/services to improve their financial well being; - Accurately complete member transactions, personalized cheque orders and review and correcting member banking errors accordingly; - Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be assigned_ Please note: Healthcare and Municipal Employees Credit Union has an accommodation process in place and provides accommodations for employees with disabilities.
