**HR COORDINATOR**

Our Made by Gather Family is looking to expand and grow the team with an HR Coordinator based in Montreal. This role will focus on the core pillars of our blueprint for success and core values - optimizing each associate touchpoint to reinforce our culture of accountability, transparency, inclusion, and results. The HR Coordinator will assist the Head of HR in all aspects, supporting HR on everything related to our people strategy, from talent acquisition, people operations, associate engagement & relations, learning & development, and KPIs/analytics. Working with every level and department within the organization, this role will report directly into the VP of HR/Chief People Officer to help support and influence/partner with our teams across the organization.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Payroll & Benefits**
- Help with the regular maintenance and up-keep of all systems, portals, HRIS, and third-party platforms
- Assist with processing payroll and compliance, staying up-to-date on all labor relations updates, payroll tax considerations, and regulations
- Assist senior management with coordination of all benefits and doing industry research
- Help roll out and implement Open Enrollment in the US and CAN
- Support any internal and external audits, quarterly reporting, and end-of-year processing

**Talent Acquisition**
- Help supervise the Onboarding of all New Hires, assisting with schedules & coordination so that each New Hire is set up for success with the right resources, training and support
- Support all talent acquisition initiatives, pro-actively helping execute recruitment strategies, utilizing social media, and utilize brand assets to attract and retain talent and help make MBG a company of choice for people of choice
- Support Adherence to local HR recruiting processes and ensure compliance with local legislation
- Support senior management in the strategic recruitment planning current and future hiring needs as the organization scales to grow
- Support Employer Brand initiatives - including growing network, assisting with maintaining brand-right forward facing collateral and ATS/talent platforms

**Talent Development**
- You’ll help coordinate regional learning & development seminars, workshops, and training
- Help VP of HR to engage, coach, mentor, and support our top talent, managers, supervisors, and employees to foster a culture of accountability, feedback and career development within our amazing team.
- Assist with planning, coordination & execution of all HR initiatives including counseling, personal development plans, annual performance reviews, and mentorship programs

**Associate Engagement**
- You’ll help foster the development of an incredible culture where employees feel cared for, respected, and valued according to our company values and blueprint for success
- Assist with the implementation of regular employee engagement surveys, and ensure resulting initiatives are managed effectively.

**Associate & Labor Relations**
- Help proactively advise managers and associates on conditions of employment under guidance of VP of HR
- Help review and update company policies, procedures, and Handbook - ensuring comprehension and understanding
- Help maintain all local laws and company employment guidelines on a regular basis

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-3 years HR experience in a generalist setting
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent written and verbal skills with a proven track record in effective communication
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders comfortably
- Ability to work in a team, with prior experience in presenting
- Proficient in Office Suite, particularly excel, powerpoint, publisher and Teams
