Cashier/ Customer Service Rep for Canada's Largest

**King of the North Auction has been in business close to 9 years and has become Canada's largest online auction company**.

We are located right in the heart of Barrie off of the 400 and Mapleview at Lockhart and Huronia. We have a brand-new state of the art 55,000sqft facility and a current staff of 90+ employees. We have grown exceptionally over the past few years and will continue to do so. We are looking to get our team up to 140 employees by the end of the year. Every week we process roughly 10-15 truckloads of inventory that need to be processed and listed on our weekly online auctions which are roughly around 14,000 to 16,000 items.

**We are currently hiring ONLY full-time.** We are looking for multiple professionals for our numerous listing departments

Our front end cashier is the face of the company greeting our members when they come in for pick up and cashing them out or assisting with any customer service needs. We average between 500-800 customers on any given day with Tuesday and Saturday being our highest traffic flow.

The Job duties entail

1. Cashing out customers via E-transfer, Cash or Credit/Debit

2. Answering customers questions or concerns during time of pick up or during phone calls

3. Answering phone calls, possibly site messages if added assistance is needed.

The required skills/attributes we are looking for: 1. Fast with the computer, navigation with the internet, typing and overall speed. (2) Tidy and efficient with daily tasks (3) Composed temperament as you are dealing with a wide range of customer personalities (4) Outgoing, bubbly and friendly is a positive as you are the face of the company and a customers first impression is based off you. Many of our positive 5 star reviews from customers stem from a pleasant experience with our cashiers.

Starting pay is $16.75 an hour. Future raises will be given yearly. There is opprtunity to move into different departments or roles within the company once probation has passed and we analyze work ethic, attendance and performance.
- **Previous Cashier experience is a huge plus, any customer service experience will also be considered a plus.**_
- **SCHEDULE: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm**_

Uniforms are provided by us and mandatory to wear. There is a hold of $100 from your first pay for the uniforms which gets reimbursed in full after your probationary period or if the employee is terminated or quits and turns their uniform in.

**We offer a perfect attendance bonus of $75 in store credit on our website aswell as monthly bonuses.**
