**Summary**

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the flow of materials through the stock room. Kit orders for assembly, while maintaining inventory accuracy and the ability to communicate deficiencies. This position requires the use of initiative and independent judgment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Kit assembly work orders as required including transactions in NAV.
- Track critical parts and ensure they are kitted in a timely fashion.
- Communicate with the assembly room/ planners to ensure work orders are kitted effectively.
- Put away and verify counts on purchased components.
- Complete daily cycle counts.
- Participate in Year End Inventory
- Obsoleting processes
- Keep area organized and safe.
- May perform other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 1-3 year ’s experience in inventory
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to operate tow motor
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- High level attention to detail
- Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office is an asset
- Experience with MRP programs preferred
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Great communications skills
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast pace environment
