The Inventory Control Specialist will work under the direction of the Inventory and Warehouse Operations Analyst and will be responsible for Special Warehouse Projects and other inventory maintenance tasks as outlined below. Associates in this role are responsible for maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory in the Well.ca distribution center, as well as for reporting any discrepancies, damages, or otherwise problematic occurrences with product in a timely and effective manner.

Please Note: This position’s job title is Inventory Control Specialist and is categorized as **NOC Code 1524 - Level C**
**Available Shifts**:
- **Mon - Fri (2pm - 10pm)**
**Responsibilities**:
- Maintain inventory stock numbers on the selves on all overstock products
- Accountable for correcting inventory counts of products as problems arise
- Perform regular audits and reconciliations on existing inventory
- Restock samples as needed
- Perform to the ongoing standards of Well.ca’s key metric indicators and performance metrics
- Report any, and all discrepancies, including damages, unsafe/unsanitary conditions to the Inventory and Warehouse Operations Analyst immediately
- Ensure that up to date expiry checks are being performed and fall within the Well.ca rules and restriction guidelines
- Make ongoing recommendations for department improvement to the Inventory and Warehouse Operations Analyst
- Assist with all other warehouse projects, including but not limited to, inventory product moves, adding and removing locations and warehouse reorganization
- Operation of a forklift
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- 2-years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Excellent time management skills
- Highly organized
- Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and team-minded
- Forklift experience is considered an assist
**Working Environment**:
This position is in a warehouse environment and requires extended periods of walking and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
