**This position will be a hybrid position. In Office Mon / Tue / Thurs. Home Wed / Fri. This is a seconded position.**

**Description**:
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work with Project and Program Managers to perform cost management activities for the PCSLD for purposes of ensuring monthly financial reporting deadlines can be met. These activities include, but are not limited to, compiling and reconciling accounting transactions, preparing accruals, assessing time sheet entries and supporting reporting, including variance reporting.
- Maintain and report on PCSLD Portfolio financial controls, including submission of project financials into the accounting systems
- Support Procure to Pay processes, which include tasks such as: monitor commitments, entry of Purchase Order Request, good or services receiving, and invoice coding, troubleshooting, liaising with vendors and other internal stakeholders
- Confirm and transact changes to Project Forecasts and Budgets
- Assist with annual budget preparation and cost center reporting

**MUST HAVE qualifications**:

- 10+ years experience in project cost control with keen attention to detail
- Accounting education and credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Efficient time management skills to oversee multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work in a team environment or independently
- Experience and ability using ERP systems

**NICE TO HAVE qualifications**:

- Chartered Professional Accountant
- Background in the oil and gas industry
