**About the Role**:
We’re looking for a strategic and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing SaaS company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying high-value leads, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth through new business opportunities. You’ll work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product to align go-to-market efforts to develop a sales pipeline that contributes to long-term company growth.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities in target markets through prospecting, cold outreach, networking, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and campaigns that generate and nurture leads.
- Conduct product demos and communicate value propositions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Triage inbounds from our AI recruit partner and owned channels (i.e. website, ads), prioritizing and actioning accordingly.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline data in Salesforce and forecast revenue projections.
- Work closely with Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff post-demo to optimize close rates.
- Stay informed on SaaS industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field..
- 3+ years of experience in B2B business development or sales, ideally within a SaaS or tech environment, marketing or social media experience a plus.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed quotas and build lasting client relationships.
- Experience selling subscription-based, cloud, or enterprise software products.
- Strong consultative selling and storytelling abilities with a client-centric mindset.
- Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Apollo).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.

**Compensation Range**:
We offer a starting salary of $60,000-85,000 CAD + commission
