**Position**: Garde Manger

Terroni’s original Italian restaurant near Queen West and Bathurst has an opening for a GARDE MANGER.

**Responsibilities and Must Haves include**:

- Valid Food Handler certificate preferred
- Some experience preferred
- Be highly organized and able to multitask
- Open availability (weekends included)
- Able to prepare & cook food as per our standardized recipes
- Have experience in choosing, preparing, and presenting cold foods, such as salads, soups, cold cuts of meats and cheeses, preparing sandwiches, etc.
- Knife handling skills
- Ensure presentation of food is up to Terroni standards
- Stocking and rotating food in kitchen storage areas, fridges and freezers while taking into consideration shelf life
- Adhere to recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
