**The Role**:
As a **Lead** **Payroll Administrator**, you will play a key role in supporting the Payroll Manager with the smooth and efficient processing of bi-weekly payroll for over 500 employees across multiple departments. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers, systems, and people. You’ll be integral to ensuring payroll runs accurately, on time, and in full compliance with company policies and regulations. From collaborating with managers to resolving inquiries and discrepancies, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will make a real impact.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in processing bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees (salary, hourly, commission), working with managers to review timecards, overtime, and vacation.
- Resolve payroll discrepancies before transmission and ensure timely, efficient payroll processing.
- Coordinate with departments to gather accurate payroll data and address internal and external inquiries.
- Reconcile vacation balances and prepare Records of Employment bi-weekly.
- Assist with special payments, terminations, month-end/year-end processes, and T4 summaries.
- Ensure compliance with BC Employment Standards and tax regulations.
- Address employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Ability to work outside standard hours during payroll deadlines (e.g., statutory holidays).
- Maintain payroll procedures for audits and knowledge transfer.
- Provide administrative support and perform other payroll duties as needed.

- High level of integrity, maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
- 2-3 years of payroll experience, with a solid understanding of payroll systems and BC Employment Standards.
- Proficiency in ADP WorkForce Now and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent knowledge of payroll processing software.
