We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive **Administrative Specialist** to join our team.

**Job Summary**

To develop, improve and execute administrative processes including invoicing, collections, payables, receivables, payroll, and some Human Resources (HR) functions.

**Responsibilities**
- Bookkeeping and basic accounting using QuickBooks,
- Maintain accurate financial records,
- Invoicing and collections,
- Accounts payable & receivable,
- Owner-Operator payables and reimbursements,
- Employee Payroll,
- WSIB account management,
- Some HR functions as required.
- Manage fuel tax (IFTA) reporting,
- Sets up new customer & supplier accounts,
- Year end tax filings (in conjunction with our 3rd party CPA partner),
- Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation, proofreading, and correspondence.

**Qualifications**
- Experience with QuickBooks Online,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint),
- Previous experience with similar responsibilities,
- Detail oriented (very important for this role),
- Existing knowledge/understanding of most of the job elements,
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills,
- Fast learner of software programs and technology in general,
- Great organization and time management skills,
- Experience in a transportation related business would benefit this role.

**Shift**
- Monday to Friday with flexible shift hours.
- Hybrid office & remote.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
