The Subcontractor Coordinator is responsible for developing a network of installers across Canada and the United States.He must evaluate the performance of installation service providers, negotiate agreements and ensure the accuracy of installation times and the quality of work performed by the installers.The Subcontractor Coordinator is responsible for supporting the facility sites in managing their capacity.

**Specific responsibilities (tasks, mandates)**:
Negotiation, awarding and follow-up of installation contracts:

- Maintain a bank of installers, monitor their performance and continually compare them in order to identify the best.
- Communicate with current installers in order to negotiate, renegotiate or renew agreements and contracts.
- Negotiate agreements with installers, while respecting budgets and Turbo quality standards.
- Estimate installation budgets and forward prices for various projects to the estimating department.
- Act as a liaison between installers and project managers to schedule installations and ensure that they remain on schedule

**Assessment of off-site installation needs**:

- Build strategies that incorporate off-site facility needs.
- Evaluate future needs in order to be proactive and obtain installer contracts on time and at the best price
- Work in collaboration with the Offsite Facilities Supervisors in the development of the network.
- Maintain a record of current installers' performance (prices obtained, timeliness, discounts offered, order accuracy, etc.)
- Build a network, conduct regular research to know the market well.

**Training, degrees, skills, abilities**:

- DEC - Administration, Engineering, Management or related fields in purchasing or planning
- Autonomy, resourcefulness, thoroughness and good judgment
- Ability to work as a team and customer service oriented
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Sense of organization, structure and planning
- Experienced negotiator
- Excellent ability to analyze complex situations and solve problems
- Knowledge of inventory management and logistics
- Bilingualism - good asset ( English - French )
