As a Showroom Consultant, you will provide our customers with expert product selection assistance and design advice. You will ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales and profit targets while increasing profit sharing. Salary ranges between $45,000 - $50,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist customers in assessing needs, selecting products, and closing sales
- Build relationships with designers, builders, and architects to grow sales
- Provide reliable quotes and delivery dates
- Meet or exceed sales and profit targets
- Enter orders, expedite purchases, and maintain proactive communication with customers
- Resolve customer issues and address returns
- Maintain up-to-date product literature and showroom displays
- Follow all safety regulations
- Perform additional tasks as requested
**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College/University business/sales degree an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service or luxury sales
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record
- Career oriented
- Works well in a team environment, as well as independently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, OneNote, Teams)
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills
- Strong relationship-building and project-management skills
- Intermediate math skills
- Aptitude to learn and operate new software/technology

**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with products sold in plumbing, kitchen, or bathroom showrooms
- Knowledge of kitchen and bath design trends
