**Qualifications**:
Hold a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

**_ Storekeeper Class I (17.5 hours per week)_**

**_ Laboratory Attendant (17.5 hours per week)_**

**Other Requirements**:

- Billingual (English and French)
- Work well in teams
- Ability to assess and implement maintenance schedules, with regard to equipment and workspaces
- Knowledge of auto industry, ordering and receiving procedures
- Knowledge of auto parts, specialized automobile equipment/tools and the ability to handle distribution of the equipment/tools - an asset
- Be able to safely handle medium to heavy loads
- Basic understanding of safety and safe practices pertaining to the auto industry
- Comfortable working with a computerized inventory system in Excel
- Experience with moving, maintaining and repairing machinery, tools and heavy equipment - an asset
- Training in operating forklifts and other machinery - an asset

**Nature of the work for Laboratory Attendant**:
**Nature of the work for Storekeeper Class I**:
The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in being responsible for a store or warehouse and in performing various tasks related to its operation.

If necessary, the employee must, in addition, perform the characteristic functions of the class of employment of class II storekeeper.

**Characteristic functions**:
The employee in this class of employment performs the duties of preparing, measuring, labeling, identifying, classifying, cleaning, washing and maintaining materials, tools and equipment and monitors dangerous substances; he or she assembles and disassembles apparatus and instruments and ensures their safe storage; repairs and calibrates instruments; keeps an inventory of materials and products; prepares purchase orders and, upon receipt of material, ensures that it conforms to specifications.

**Daily Tasks/Dossiers**:

- Demonstrate the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Demonstrate the ability to build relationships and collaborate with adult learners and educators.
- Be willing to pursue additional training in technology and mechanical equipment.
- Have experience working in a shop setting with students.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Move, maintain and repair machinery, tools and heavy equipment
- Operating forklifts and other machinery.
