**Job Summary**
The Office Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily office operations within an optical laboratory setting to ensure efficiency and entry of rx orders into lab management systems. This role involves providing administrative support, communicating with customers, and matching job orders with correct lens materials required.

**Duties**:

- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and organizing documents
- Answer phone calls and assist with resolving customer's inquiries from seeking various information from job status to technical questions
- taking RX orders over the phone from clients and starting orders by matching with correct materials to prepare job for data entry
- monitor progress of jobs and ensure up-to-date information is provided to the client as well as internal team

**Requirements**:

- Experience in an administrative or clerical role
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Fluent English is a requirement
- Experience in an optical/lab setting is an asset but not requirement, we are willing to train if you are eager to learn

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
