**THE ROLE - ASSISTANT OPERATION MANAGER**

You play a key role in the company’s year round organizational logistics, supporting our base of operations, managing materials and conducting administrative functions.. Like all team members, you ensure our company image is presented in a professional and courteous manner.

**DELIVERABLES**
- Schedule and communicate team member activities daily
- Weekly Reporting & Administrative Duties
- Purchase materials, rent & coordinate machinery and subs for on time delivery
- Inventory and PO management monthly/per job
- Fleet, Yard, Shop Management and Maintenance

**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**
- 5 - 7 years related experience
- Experience scheduling and coordinating the delivery of materials/ equipment/ machinery
- Proven skills in detail tracking and good with numbers
- Comfortable with client interaction
- Experience working with CRM and client interaction
- Fleet management and maintenance experience
- Experience snow clearing and salting
- Ability to drive truck and trailer, operate machinery, skid steers, and tractors
- A clean driver abstract, G license at a minimum (DZ or AR preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, / Experience unloading tractor trailers

Since 2012 we have been offering the Synlawn Products in the GTA west market. As the presence of the Synlawn Family of products grows in Ontario, we are focussing our efforts on establishing partnerships with like minded dealers and installers to grow the entire network. This business and the current market show this segment to explode over the next 10 years and become a mainstay in surfaces and or design. We look to be the leader in Ontario and double every 2 years, and you will take us there.

**Garden City Groundskeeping Services Ltd**. is a commercial landscape maintenance and snow removal company established in 2002, operating year-round in Brampton, Mississauga and Etobicoke. We provide landscape design, maintenance, snow and construction services. We are looking to expand this business and double in 3-5 years.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**

This is a full time, year round position. In the summer we run Monday thru Friday from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm and may work Saturdays.

**COMPENSATION**

This is an annual job with full time pay.

**Salary**: $60-70,000

A *benefits package, *RRSP matching program and $40 cell phone allowance monthly are included.
This is based on a 44 hour work week.

**Job Type**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
