**Job Overview**

BRKFREE is a brand new and immersive social entertainment experience designed to make participants feel like they have entered another world. The new concept is the future of in-person entertainment for groups of all kinds, with its combination of wildly entertaining gameplay, and great food and drinks. The space will open with 40 unique and high-technology game rooms where teams will encounter physical, mental, and skill-based challenges.

As an Assistant Manager you are a protector of all that we hold sacred; Social Entertainment, **Social Entertainment** and _Social Entertainment._

**Responsibilities**
- Gain a complete understanding of specific goals, objectives, and audiences
- Help build a well-developed and high-performing team that works together collaboratively.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the company is providing consistently excellent products and service, and that the environment is inviting and well-stocked
- Set daily employee objectives and schedules to achieve and exceed company productivity and sales goals
- Monitor performance and report on progress
- Adhere to department policies and procedures
- Partner with Operations Managers to ensure quality customer service and supervise a team with diverse talents and responsibilities
- Meet regularly with management to report and plan strategic plans for team objectives
- Monitor customer and client satisfaction, and quality assurance, reporting any problems, accidents, unsafe conditions, or equipment trouble to management
- Assist Operations Managers with training of new team members
- Open and close location when necessary
- Serve as the Lead in different departments when needed; but not limited to cashiering, or working in the kitchen

**Key Requirements**
- Ability and willingness to take on additional tasks
- Adheres to federal, provincial and local labour laws
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, and understands and complies with all scheduling policies and practices
- Secures and maintains any assigned company property
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds

**Qualifications after hire**
- Smart Serve Certification
- Food Prep Certification
- Criminal Background Check

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- People Management: 1 year (preferred)
