Office Manager/bookkeeper

**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee administrative functions, including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Provide progress billing as well as general billing to customers to ensure expedited payment.
- Oversee accounts receivable.
- Payroll.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure all documents are up-to-date and accessible.
- Assist in budgeting processes by tracking expenses and preparing financial reports.
- Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries and communicating with clients or vendors.
- Support human resources activities such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Manage WCB accounts and daily safety implementation.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as an Office Manager in a construction firm or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and managing teams.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and vendor management practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with all levels of staff and external partners.
