**Summary**

We are seeking a Receiver to join our dynamic team at Vision Hollow Metal Limited in Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient flow of materials within our warehouse operations, and managing the inventory.

**Responsibilities-**
- Responsible for ensuring that shipments of consumables for the plant are received. This includes matching the packing slip against the purchase or shipping notice to verify the vendor, quantity, description and quality of goods.
- Inspect the condition of the goods to ensure they have not been damaged during transport and meet quality standards.
- Ensure that the correct items, serial numbers, or barcodes match those on the delivery paperwork.
- Enter Data into Inventory Systems: Update inventory management systems to reflect the goods received, including quantities, descriptions, and location of items.
- Label Items: Mark items with appropriate labels or barcodes for tracking within the system.
- Store Products Properly: Ensure that goods are stored in their designated location within the plant or warehouse storage area. This includes placing items in bins, racks, or shelves in an organized manner.
- Rotate Inventory: Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) or other inventory methods to ensure older stock is used or sold first.
- Coordinate with Purchasing: Work closely with the purchasing department to resolve any discrepancies between orders and deliveries.
- Report Issues: Communicate any damages, quality concerns, discrepancies, or shortages in shipments to management or relevant departments for resolution.
- Track and Monitor Inventory Levels: Monitor the accuracy of inventory records and keep an eye on stock levels to avoid overstocking or stock outs.
- Conduct Regular Inventory Audits: Perform regular inventory counts and audits to ensure the accuracy of stock records.
- Handle the return process for damaged, incorrect, or defective items, ensuring that returned goods are properly documented and processed.
- Follow plant and warehouse safety procedures and ensure the storage area is safe for both workers and inventory.
- Keep the receiving area clean and organized to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.

**Required Qualifications**
- One (1) to three (3) years of warehousing experience in receiving and inventory control.
- Valid Forklift Certificate with counterbalance
- Certificate in one of the following is an asset:

- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is an asset
- Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is an asset.
- Warehouse Management Certification is an asset.
- Inventory Management Certification (IMC) is an asset
